About the Emergency Assistance Fund
The University of Nebraska System's Emergency Assistance Fund enables the university to help currently enrolled students and current university employees (faculty and staff) who face financial hardship resulting from emergency or crisis situations such as natural disasters, home displacement, and food insecurity.

Review Qualifications

Complete the Application Form
Complete the application form linked below and submit to NUemergencyfund@nebraska.edu. The committee may request additional information from the applicant prior to making a decision.
Receive Notification
The committee will review your application, determine whether financial assistance will be awarded and notify you of its decision. Detailed information on notification and payment is available in the EAF policy.
