The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will also be live-streamed at www.nebraska.edu. The meeting is open to the public.

The meeting will lead off with remarks from NU System President Ted Carter, who will review key accomplishments from the past year and look ahead to 2023. Key items for the Board’s consideration include:
- The awarding of the title of Regent Emeritus to Board Chairman Bob Phares of North Platte. Phares, who represents District 7 on the Board, is ending his time on the Board after 16 years of service. (Addendum XI-A-1)
- Room and board rates for the 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Omaha and Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. (Addenda XI-B-1, XI-B-2, XI-B-3 and XI-B-4)
- Revisions to Board policy regarding the sponsorship of speakers with student fees. (Addendum XI-B-5)
