The University of Nebraska utilizes distance learning to increase access and facilitate student success. Distance learning provides flexibility for students with competing demands for their time, including those who may have families, are established in a career setting or have other obligations which make it difficult to attend a program on campus. Digital education as a collaborative strategy across the University of Nebraska creates more opportunity to reach more resident and non-resident students. NU’s strong enrollment growth in online programs over the past five years is a testament to the University’s commitment to meeting student needs.
