To the Faculty, Staff and Students of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln:
I’m pleased to share with you the campus visit schedule for our priority candidate for chancellor, Dr. Rodney Bennett.
Dr. Bennett will spend all of next week touring UNL, meeting with internal and external stakeholders, and holding open forums that will give you a chance to hear about his vision for our flagship university. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to meet Dr. Bennett and learn more about his candidacy. The schedule for next week’s forums follows. Please note that while forums are generally targeted to specific stakeholder groups, all are open to all members of the public, so feel free to attend the session that best fits your schedule, either in-person or on Zoom.
And anytime during Dr. Bennett’s vetting period, I invite you to share your feedback here. Your input is an important part of our search process.
I know Rodney is looking forward to engaging with all of you directly, and I am equally eager to introduce him to the UNL community. I think you will find, as I have, that he is a passionate champion for the land-grant mission with a bold vision for our future. This is an exciting new chapter for our flagship university.
