The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Christine Gengenbach, Human Resources Specialist in the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources Finance & Personnel Office at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
According to her supervisor, “Chris is a true leader who is very passionate about her work, has high integrity, an extremely strong work ethic, and is collaborative and service-oriented.”
Chris has worked in Human Resources at UNL for 18 years. She is one of the most knowledgeable HR professionals on campus. She’s fair and un-biased, detail-oriented, inquisitive, thorough and efficient.
A life-long learner, Chris has attained the two highest certifications in the HR field: as Senior Professional in Human Resources and as a Senior Certified Professional. She continuously seeks out professional development to continue to learn and grow as an HR professional.
Working at both the central HR and departmental HR levels has given Chris a unique perspective and allows her to understand both details and the big picture. She is known to be a skilled trouble-shooter and routinely goes above and beyond to find innovative, collaborative solutions to everyday challenges.
Today Chris is joined by her supervisor and nominator Trisha Dezort.
Please join me in thanking Christine Gengenbach for her dedication to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and to the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
