The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Jordan Malone, Project Manager in the UNL Business and Finance offices.
According to her nominator, Jordan is a transformative employee who set a “new bar" for UNL’s Business and Finance organization. She instantly began making notable and meaningful impacts - being an effective project point-person, multitasker, problem solver, and keeping the team focused on key priorities and not allowing items to “slip through the cracks."
She has led and managed significant projects including; a complete redesign of UNL’s Policy site, migration of the incident reporting system to an app-based system, update and optimization of web pages and content, coordination of a Climate Survey for over 850 employees, management of the "Strategic Planning and Inclusive Excellence Roadmap." She has served as our Combined Campaign Cabinet representative, coordinated Alternate Worksite arrangements and related space impacts, and is the point person for ITS issues for the entire organization including the recent and ongoing cloud storage migration.
This list of larger projects does not truly encapsulate her daily contributions. But they do show the tremendous breadth of her work, the exceptional talent Jordon possesses, and her willingness to work on any project benefiting UNL.
Jordan does all this with an incredibly positive and proactive "can do" attitude and her energetic approach, optimistic outlook, and sense of humor are contagious. As shared by a team member, “she has built trust and inspired transparency at all levels in UNL Business and Finance." She is a tremendous asset to the Business and Finance senior team.
Joining Jordan today are her husband, Kamron Malone and her supervisor, Bill Nunez, Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance.
Please join me in thanking Jordan for her dedication to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
