On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a KUDOS Award to Aurelie Villard., digital media manager in UNMC's Department of Strategic Communications.
Aurelie is the voice of UNMC's social media platforms. Since joining UNMC in 2018, she has continued to grow the med center's social media following and building a solid relationship with its online community. Whether Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Linkedin, managing UNMC's social media platforms is a non-stop role, and she doesn't miss a beat.
As digital media manager, she explores how best to tell UNMC stories across the various social media platforms, reviews analytics and monitors audience feedback across all channels. She explores creative ways to share information that engages, entertains, and informs readers.
Aurelie also works closely with the UNMC community to help departments create and grow their online presence, and she counsels faculty, staff and students on best practices. She collaborates with colleges on successful social media campaigns that help them reach their recruitment goals.
On top of a full workload, she continually challenges herself to grow and expand her skill set, which includes pursuing a master's degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
UNMC Strategic Communications - and the university as a whole - are fortunate to have Aurelie onboard to highlight life at UNMC and share trusted information with Nebraskans and beyond.
Today, Aurelie is joined by Karen Burbach, Communications and Engagement Director, her mom, Elsie Regnis, her niece s Lolah Sanon, her sister, Larissa Sanon and boyfriend, Amed Tidjani.
Please join me ni thanking Aurelie for her high-profile, high-caliber work in spotlighting the people and programs at UNMC.
