The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Sara Quinn, Director of Research Compliance Services and Research Integrity at UNL.
Sara consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership, work ethic, and dedication to ensuring research compliance with federal and state regulations, institutional policies, and ethical standards.
In her decade of service, Sara has expertly managed a 172% increase in regulatory changes. She oversees key areas such as Human Research Protection, Conflicts of Interest/Commitment, Export Control, Research Misconduct, Data Security, and the Responsible Conduct of Research. Her commitment to professional development and proactive collaboration with peers nationwide further illustrates her dedication.
Two standout contributions include addressing federal concerns on research security ensuring swift university compliance with policies on foreign influence while playing a pivotal role in updating the UNL Conflict of Interest/Commitment policy in 2024. Sara’s thoughtful communication ensured smooth implementation across the campus.
Her passion for integrity and education in her work is evident as she promotes the Responsible Conduct of Research and prepares faculty, students, and staff to uphold ethical standards in their careers. For her exceptional service, Sara Quinn's nomination for this Kudos Award is well-deserved.
