The University of Nebraska events team builds and maintains important relationships with University constituents including donors, elected officials, current and potential partners, and faculty and staff. The team designs, plans and manages Presidential events such as Husker football pre-games, the President's Excellence Awards, Legislative events, Regent luncheons and dinners, and events for visiting dignitaries.
The events team also works with their campus event colleagues across the University and at the University of Nebraska Foundation on events that are co-hosted or attended by the President—such as athletic-related receptions and pre-games, groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies, Chancellor installations, retirement ceremonies, and others.
